Covid 19 Updates and news

As you are probably aware England is entering another national lockdown this week for another 4 weeks. As always we want to keep our customers in the loop with what is happening and how we are taking steps to protect you and ourselves.


Since the pandemic first began at the beginning of the year and the first lockdown, we have continued trading and we will continue to do so. So don't worry your normal Sen5es service will resume during this second country wide lockdown.


We have been following developments both locally, country wide and globally very closely. Making sure that we are meeting all the government guidelines to keep our business safe and operating during this trying time.


Our safety procedures


To help show what we are doing on a daily basis to ensure that your orders are packed and prepared safely, we have outlined our safety procedures below. These have been in force since the beginning of the pandemic but we would like to reassure you before this next lockdown begins.


  • Masks are now to be warn permanently in the warehouse.

  • Only 2 members of staff are allowed in the warehouse at one time.

  • The warehouse is big enough to allow for plenty of space for social distancing.

  • Any customer wanting to collect must wait outside the warehouse for their order to be brought to them.

  • Hand sanitiser and gloves are used in the warehouse.

  • Where possible, new stock is not touched for up to 9 days before use. When not possible, items or tools are sanitised after use.

  • Door handles, knives, tape guns and any other points of contact are regularly sanitised.




Deliveries


As you know we work with an amazing next day courier and they are doing their best to ensure that our parcels are getting to you safely and securely. Below is their latest statement in regards to deliveries. For more information please head over to their website here.


The APC network is providing essential parcel collection and delivery services nationally on behalf of our SME customers. We are all committed to doing the very best we can in these difficult circumstances. 
Our network of key workers are continuing to provide essential supply chain services, as outlined by the Department of Transport.
We continue to focus on providing excellent service wherever possible, however recognise that the situation may have an impact on service levels.
Our brilliant drivers and depot teams appreciate your understanding and support. We continue to adopt the ‘No Contact Delivery Practice’ .
The safety and welfare of all those involved in our network, and of our customers, remains our priority.

I am very proud of how the team at Sen5es has coped during this global pandemic. We have all taken steps to ensure that the business can remain open and operate safely. We have taken on more staff to help improve the business and deal with a greater demand for our products.


It's been a roller coaster.

Also we have managed to up our stock levels to ensure that we are able to keep providing our amazing customers with the experience they have become accustomed to.


On that note I would like to take a moment to thank all of our amazing customers, new and old. For all of their support and continued business. We really appreciate it and we can't wait to carry on working with you and offering our renowned Sen5es customer service.
