As you probably know by now. At Sen5es we love anything to do with glass packaging. We have an incredible range of glass bottles and glass jars. And recently we've added to our range of premium glass spirit bottles by adding a very special new cork.
In this months product spotlight blog we are highlighting a very exciting new product. Our 18.5mm high top glass cork. This is our first ever glass cork and adds to our line of premium packaging.
This cork is designed to fit our range of polo bottles perfectly and finishes the bottle off to an incredibly high standard. The thick glass of the cork compliments the polo's style, elegance and heavy base.
This Vinolok glass closure is made from high quality glass. The sealing ring is made of EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer) by DOW and contains no Phthalates or allergens.

Made For Premium Spirit Bottles
We have tried and tested these corks with our range of premium spirit bottles, the polo range. We have found they fit perfectly. However we always recommend that our customers test their own products before committing to ordering large quantities.
700ml Polo Bottle
The 700ml polo bottle is our largest polo in the range. A classic size for any style spirit. This 700ml spirit bottle has a classic shape and a thick and heavy base. Giving it a premium feel and complimenting your exceptional product.
500ml Polo Bottle
The 500ml polo bottle is our medium sized liquor bottle and is perfect for those limited edition runs and smaller batch productions.
As with the rest of the polo range it's the best packaging to give your product a premium and high quality feel.
250ml Polo Bottle
Our smallest bottle in the polo range is the 250ml. This little bottle is the cute baby brother of the 700ml and is perfect for smaller sample and gift set sizes. The 18.5mm glass cork fits wonderfully on this little bottle and finishes it off to the highest standard.
Alternative Bottles
As well as fitting our polo range these cork can also fit our 250ml, 330ml, 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml soft drinks bottles. And also our 200ml Flask bottle. The only downside is these bottle are designed for a screw top style lid so you can still see the thread. They will however keep liquid perfectly in the bottle. So it's a great alternative to our plastic caps.
This 18.5mm high top cork is perfect for any bottle with an 18.5mm bore hole. We would however suggest that you order a few samples to test on any bottle before ordering large amounts. We can guarantee these work with our polo range but cannot guarantee any other spirit bottle ranges.
The cork is manufactured by Vinolok corks and is of the highest quality. They have provided us with some handy tips to see if this cork works for your bottle.
Make sure the inner neck diameter of your bottle matches the size of the cork. In this case the inner measurement should be 18.5mm.
Test the corks on several bottles! The corks should be easily inserted and removed by hand.
Apply a shaking test. Lift the bottle up by the cork only and give it a little shake. The cork should not fall out of the bottle.
Shrink Capsules
With a cork like this you don't want to hide it away. But you want to make sure your customers know that the bottle is brand new and not tampered with.
We suggest using our 34x50mm clear heat shrink band to give the cork a tamper evident seal. It's made from clear plastic so when shrunk over the cork and bottle the cork can still be seen by your customers.
It's always best to add a tamper seal to your product as it gives your customers the security they require when buying a new product.
